Henry McMillan
YOGA INSTRUCTOR & PURVEYOR OF GOOD ENERGY
Henry has been teaching yoga for nearly 15 years. After selling his Los Angeles yoga studio in 2016, he moved to Amsterdam where he built a thriving yoga business, teaching at studios across the city and hosting retreats in Mexico and Spain. Known for his playful, challenging and unique flows with impeccable playlists, his classes are designed to be a fully immersive experience.
“Expect to laugh, sweat and maybe discover muscles you didn’t even know you had”
Henry’s dream of hosting a men-only retreat finds its perfect match in Gran Canaria.
“There is something special that happens in a gay/queer identifying space, and that includes yoga as well. A certain freedom to let go, and be yourself with a group of funny, kind and accepting men.”
Whether you are a seasoned yogi, or stepping onto the mat for the first time, Henry has a way of meeting each participant where they are on their yoga journey (and then pushing them just a little further) so that each person leaves feeling growth and expansion, not just in their yoga practice, but also their lives.
A RETREAT DURING PRIDE, NOT A PRIDE RETREAT
Yes, it’s Pride week – the 25th anniversary, first Pride of the season, the island buzzing. But honestly? Most of our guests barely touch the festival. And that’s perfect.
THE PRIDE PARADE
SATURDAY 9 MAY 2026
Start: 16:00 (4 PM)
We’ll join the parade together – iconic, joyful, queer history on wheels – then glide back to the retreat for late-night munchies, soft landing, zero overwhelm. Pride is the backdrop; the retreat is the point.
Think of it as: a retreat that happens to have a festival nearby – not a festival pretending to be a retreat.
“This retreat is more than just yoga; it’s a celebration of connection and community for gay/queer identifying men, set against the sunny backdrop of Gran Canaria.”

Moments Under The Sun
2025 Season
“I craft my sessions to balance strength and stretch, because yoga for men isn’t just about increasing flexibility, it’s about connecting to your body, letting go of ego, and having a great time.”
